Brazil 1942 10 cent mint? Need opinions bad shape.

Tell me what you think. It is to the right of the _ under centavos on the reverse. I know my coins in bad shape.

This one os 1943. Only 2 years they were minted.

 

So what do you think about mine? I’d like to think it is and it sorttt of resembles it still but I won’t be surprised if other people deny it.

 

I don't understand what you mean? It should be the same mark whatever it is. I doesn't matter because of the bad condition your coin is in.

 

I don't understand your question either. I don't know what the mark is either but it appears to be on all of these coins. Could be a mint mark or designers mark. The biggest part of numismatics is study and research, looks like something you could look into and let us know what you find out.

The difference between KM#555a.1 and KM#555a.2.

KM#555a.1 - there are signature after “Brasil” on Obverse and at the end of the line above the date on Reverse.


There are coins struck with and without the signature (1943 and 1944, as far as I know).
