    your ditto replies are meaningless. you don't even say if you feel this coin is what I think it is. die crack leading to large cud is a variety but its also an error in how coin was minted IMO.

    If they issued thousands with the same cracked die, it is a variety. I'm sure it has a Newcomb number.

    Thanks for the photos. In my opinion $20 it's top book. I'd be willing to hold out and pay a little more for a better looking coin.

    Problem is the better looking less worn ones are hundreds or sometimes thousands of dollars.

    In that case I save my money so I can get it. I've purchased numerous coins by saving my money and buying that one hard to get expensive coin.
