Rodney Cole I do not keep foreign coins.

My dad gave me this from his collection. He said he was paid with this Quarter back in the 60's as a newspaper boy. At first he couldn't remember where he got it and then a few days later he called and told me the story how Mr. Butler paid him with this Quarter and told my dad not to worry it would still spend that the government gave us poor people that kind of money. How funny is that? IMG_20200203_223419.jpg s-l1600 (1).jpg

I did my best not to laugh or cry when he told me this story. It's sad and funny all at the same time. I'm just glad he still remembers me.

Thanks much. I thought that story would be a little bit of a personal introduction. Kinda describes where I am in my life and how coin collecting is one of the only things my father and I can still enjoy together.

Why do you doubt the story? You don't know who his father is!
