Not too smart about this coin stuff just now getting into it because of an inheritance. Wondered about a few coins. I know this could be a quick google but a bunch of etsy posts come up and I don’t trust those lmao, and this Masonic chapter penny looks to be some sort of mystery.

Good that you know that.. Never trust etsy!

The wheat cent looks to be in pretty good condition.
What does it state in the back? A say about $2.00 or $3.00

The Mason penny is cool. There have been a few threads on CoinTalk concerning them. Someone will price it better than me.

I'll google something and get that Esty stuff. Very irritating. Then the search engines start posting ads on your home pages. Wish there was a way to stop it. Nice coins and welcome.

Welcome to CT. That 1945D is a beauty. It may not be worth a lot, but nice to add for a collection. Did you inherit a cent album, or just loose coins in 2x2?

This is why I clear all cookies and caches at the end of each day and have "no tracking" on at all times.

I inherited a lot of loose coins in old 2x2s
And a lot more loose in plastic bags. I was quick to get everything in a new 2x2 but quick is the wrong word to use because it took me 2 weeks and $50 in 2x2s haha. I hope to post the full collection as soon as I figure out the mystery coins I can’t read. I posted them if anyone’s Interested in helping.

Thank you if you know anything about the Masonic coin let me know. I know they are given to members and this one is very old. Not sure the exact date but it shows the chapter 8 organization date. That’s all I know

I was suspecting this because I didn’t think the coin could’ve been made the same day as the organization but I didn’t have any other hint haha. I hope to find someone that knows a lot more than I do about the freemasons.

Very cool that you know who the owner was. I hope to find out how my grandfather came into possession of this coin.

    I only have this Image_1127.JPG Image_1129.JPG medal. I can't read the date.

    Actually 1915 is what MCMXV is....M is 1000, C is 100; so MCM is 1900...X is 10 and V is 5...
