Hello I'm been seriously thinking about joining PCGS and getting some coins graded... I can't seem to find out the answer to my questions I have three of them if anyone can help me I would appreciate it...Or is there some kind of form I can go to to ask questions
If I sent a coin off for grading to PCGS and I filled out the form.that the coin was an MS 68 and pcgs also graded it at MS 68. My question is if The coin just so happens to be a A variety or key date coin.and I didn't list it when I sent it for grading. will PCGS look for that kind of stuff? Do they look for this kind of stuff when when they're grading your coin even if i didn't put it on the form?
1) they [PCGS] don't make a coin as a "key date" 2) They only mark listed [their list] varieties, and only if you ask for it on your submission form
There are SOME varieties that will be identified automatically, but for most of them you have to request it and pay an additional fee.
