Like we've talked about, you get some PMG 40-58 graded notes that APPEAR nicer at 1st glance than some of your notes in the low-60's. It's upon closer examination that you might find a slight fold or crease or other defect in the paper. Somebody here showed a bill lit at an angle and it showed like 10-12 wrinkles that you didn't see with light straight-on.
For the money -- assuming money is an issue -- it might be the best bang for the buck. If you can pay up for PMG 64 or 65 (66 ?) bills that look nice margin-wise, then you can bypass the terrible margins you often see on low-60's notes.
2017 $1 Radar: 6334....4336. Superb Gem Quality....you can pick these up for $30 or so. I notice that lately Heritage is pairing up modern Radar and Repeaters for sale together. For you newcomers to paper/currency collecting, HA does have some affordable and inexpensive nice modern bills with some unique serial numbers.
Nice addition @GoldFinger1969 . A bunch being sold here on the BST. https://www.papermoneyforum.com/post/frns-for-sale-10412480?pid=1310671322
I was recently gifted this huge 1914 Russia 100 Rubles note. It's in poor condition but it was free and still cool to add to the collection.
$2017 $1 Repeater: Here's the other bill that came with the radar. 6334....6334. The 2 bills must have been produced in close proximity to one another and immediately grabbed/stored, but this bill "only" scored a 67.
Just arrived today. An Fr.2306 in midgrade condition with original paper and no distractions. This note was the first place prize in a monthly contest on a different forum. I am blessed.
$1970 MPC: I picked this up when I got outbid on a 1968 that had a nice-looking woman on the front. Still teed off I lost out, but you have to be disciplined. There will be more to bid on.
Where did you find bills from Paraguay, End ? I saw 1 or 2 dealers at FUN selling currencies from South American countries.
