I do not really a big money collector, but on occasion I will pull some things from circulation.

I have a few questions on what I should be keeping though.

I mostly have 10 dollar stars, all in excellent condition to the corners bent a little and some 20s and a 100 dollar star note.

The 100 dollar star note is a series 1985 K 01298962. I would rate it average circulated. Not sure if it is worth anything though and if not Ill deposit it into my account. I was able to check online at uspapermoney.info and if I read the info right it has a low printing number?

Second note is something I set aside awhile ago, but not sure if it is special.

It is a regular 1999 5 dollar serial note, but next to Lincolns head on the left is an E3 followed by a small fwE3 on the lower right side as well as a small 3 on the back next on the lower right corner.

I was not sure if it has a special value since all numbers are the same.

    Thanks

    Appreciate it!!

notes are only good if you give them away. but you are in luck i run a service that takes unwanted notes for free. i wont charge you anything but still take the notes.

post pics and we can tell you if there are any significant premiums

the fw is for the fort wayne facility of the bep that prints notes think of it as a mint mark if you will

Thanks I will post pics when I get home today. Thanks for the info, but I was talking about the numbers next to the fw. All notes I have noticed have these numbers, usually different like a 10 dollar bill I have has a small A22 and A1 on the front and the back is 111. Perhaps something from the printing press? That one five dollar bill I have is the only one I have found with all numbers being the same.

the numbers next to the FW are called front plate numbers. if you turn the note over near the lower right corner of the inner box, those are the back plate numbers. check this site out for info on what all the numbers mean :)

Thanks Daggarjon. Very interesting I will try to get pictures of these notes up soon. Is there any added value for a bill having all the same plate numbers or is this one a spender? Thanks again.
