1878 Trade Dollar No Liberty?

Found a weird one here. Notice anything unusual about this trade dollar? Seems to be missing the plant with the liberty banner. Any idea if this is a legit coin and what it is worth or is it one of those "C word" ones? This coin weighs almost an oz. Any info is helpful.

Welcome to CT. This is a legitimate US Trade Dollar. If you look closely you will notice that Lady Liberty is not sitting in a throne, she is sitting on a chamber pot. It's called a Potty Dollar and they are collectible. Some people call them Hobo Dollars but these were done many years before Hobo Nickels, hence the name.

Sine it has been recarved it is considered damaged but there is a market for them to special collectors of this sort.

Crude fakes. No value unless they are actually silver, which is highly unlikely.

One thing is for sure, you can't post them on CT. A little on the expensive side but worth getting one.
