physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

That's tough. I don't immediately see anything that indicates AU, but the obverse pic isn't great. Can you try and take another shot of the obverse with it more straight on, like the reverse shot is?

Looks like a nice coin. I would say AU at worst.

I think I see a light rub on the obverse. It should grade AU-58 at the worst and perhaps MS-63 at the best. Neither of grades would justify the grading fees from the financial perspective.

    Shot for MS, otherwise AU58

Regardless it’s a really nice coin.

Sorry I try taking a better pic of the obverse but I'm no good at taking pic of coins

    PCGS has a MS 62 at $60.00 and an MS 63 $85.00.
if I could get at least 62 it would pay for the grading

Unless you got it for free, you also have to consider the cost of the coin. Say you paid $30 for it, then $35 for grading. The price guide values are nearly always optimistic. Recent sales of the 62 have been about $40, and 63s between $50 and $80. That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me to send it in, but it's your coin and your money.

physics-fan you guess it about right I paid $25 for it and grading will cost $30.
total of $55 but will that little extra be worth having the coin slabbed and protected

If you want to protect the coin, there are *far* less expensive ways to do it. You can even get holders that look and feel just like a slab, with the same level of protection: https://supplies.coinweek.com/index.php?p=product&id=3867

Don’t forget shipping and the per-submission handling fee.

One other way you can go is to send it in on an ANACS special. They frequently do $7-10 per coin specials, although you may need to round up 9 more coins to get the deal. If you submit at a show, you don’t pay shipping to them, only from them to you.

Their grading is pretty solid, even if the market doesn’t respect them as much as PCGS or NGC, and they are as good as any at pointing out problem coins. I highly recommend them as a collector-friendly way to try out the slabbing game without investing a ton of money, while getting a good education and also physically protecting your coins.

I live here in Denver, ANACS does have some faults, but as of late they have for the most part held pretty strict to the technical side of grading. This is always a plus if you want to learn how to grade for yourself. Money spent for the education is always a plus.

    It's a very nice coin.
But if there is any wear at all it will come back AU.
Seems to be slight wear on the high points, the hair, bust and sails.

If PCGS and NGC keep going up on there grading fees I will go with ANACS. I have no problem with going with them

It might have made MS but what looks like possibly a finger print under "Exposition" would knock it down a lot. And what's going on with the last 'o' in Exposition? Grease filled?

Don't forget about how the postal rates have gone up. The affect the grading decision too.

Mountain Man, I asked about the o here on coin talk a while back and I think everyone said it was a grease-filled

That was my first thought, but it's so clean I wondered.
