i am not a moderator but i know the forum rules. You dont make ~5000 posts and be the guy with most friends if you dont know the rules
I don't know the rules, so don't wanna get slammed by a moderator for breaking another one. I enjoy this forum and I think I'll keep a bit lower on their radar until the past violations go away. But since you asked, I'll tell you, Stanford Coins is where I buy my gold unless I get it through Heritage.
It is spelled out quite plainly in the rules. Yes, you can post links to businesses that you like to buy from. It is recommended that you do not post email addresses though. Not because it is against the rules, but to stop the email harvesting net-bots from getting that email address and then selling to everybody on the planet. What you are not allowed to do is post links to your own auctions or make any offers to buy, trade or sell on Coin Talk - outside of the Open & Auction forums. And even then, the rules for those forums must be followed.
The rules are quite easy to understand, you can find them here - Forum Rules And if you don't understand something, by all means just ask questions.
First look: Buffalo fractionals arrived today These arrived today. The scans don't do them justice, but I haven't mastered the macro photography technique yet. I really like the way they look. Each size has its own unique character.
I don't feel that I was ripped off. They're expensive, but I wanted them and I don't expect the price to come down in the future. The premium over bullion price is a bit steep (29%) but nowhere near what it is now for platinum at the mint.
thats good for the mints business cant say i blame you i bought one myself but it was still a rip off
Which one did you get? It's interesting that even with the same design, they look very different from each other.
the 4 coin proof set. it arrived day 3. i was thinking of getting all the unc as well but better sense prevailed
