Hello. I found this 1975 S proof (impaired). But the mint mark looks funky to me. Almost like a repunch. Would like your input on it please. Thanks!

How do you find such good coins?! On average, when looking through bank wrapped rolls, I’ll get about 1 Ok coin per roll. (Small errors, BU coins, and 1940s - 1950s) With customer wrapped rolls, I normally find a good date, but other than that, mostly searched through. I found a 1949 s today with 30 CWR, so not too bad. But other than that, nearly all of the rolls were searched through.

Its all about location. Where im at is a very good location for constant coin dumps. Also keep in mind I have been doing this for 20+ years so I have a good eye on catching things which helps with the process of being very quick. This in turn means more boxes to complete per week.

I usually average 1-2 low find boxes per 10 searched.

Is that a RPM on the 1953 s? I can’t be sure but it looks like something is going on there.

Yeah I noticed that too. Unfortunately this nickel is a terrible washed out strike. All the letters have that washed out look.
