For the counterfeit collectors

    With the poor pics it is hard to tell if it is counterfeit or not. I'm leaning toward cast counterfeit. The current bid - $61 plus $3 S?H is too much for me to pay for a counterfeit and is also too much to risk if I thought it may be genuine.

    If it is a countefeit it is one I would like to have - but not at that price.

    Besides the lack of detail nothing really rings out counterfiet , it has a little of a cast look , but with more modern material than sand . Like Hobo said , can't be sure , and he's the resident expert on fakes .

    This is completely a fake. I use to collect barber dimes A LOT, and this is "funky" looking. STAY away!

    Certainly could be wrong........blowing up the picture in photo editor and comparing to pic's of the only two die pairs, the 1's and the mm don't match.

    When I look now , I definitly notice a lack of detail of the MM .
