Did I just discover a new Class 8 DDR on a zinc 1982?

I found this in the same batch of 1982 that the last post came from, but I think I got something major this time!

Anything that needs that much magnification gives me a headache.

On stuff like this we need composition, bronze/copper, or Zinc cent.
You need to stop only providing thumbnails. Post in full size and crop your photos.
I can't comment on this until I know if it is a zlincoln or a copper.

 

I think you are seeing worn die issues. Die deterioration. JMHO

This no doubt is Die Deterioration if it is Zinc.

Ok, so what I was seeing (Especially in UNITED and the colemns) is just my crazy eyes acting up again, huh? Welp, guess I need to get some new glasses!

That thing has to be zinc because it's eating itself from the inside out.

 

As the title says, its a zincoln.
