    Very nice @panzerman.

For those who do not know in Vietnam the swastika is a symbol of hope and prosperity.

It is also not called a swatstika, that is the Nazi name for the symbol.

I'm pretty sure that the term swastika is still used despite the Nazi historical ties. I've seen it used dozens of times in numismatic publications and auctions and Wikipedia doesn't mention a disuse of the term and it pre-dates WWII. Regardless, here's my next.

you are correct, there even where ice hockey teams in Canada named Windsor Swastikas! Finlands airforce had the swastika in 1920s/ it was on Latvian stamps as watermark, Jewish-Germam WWI ace Werner Voss had it on his Fokker DR-I Triplane. The Vikings used it..... werner-voss-writers-photo-1.jpg the-swastikas-hockey-team.jpg

The Nazis coopted the symbol. They modified it slightly by rotating it. As shown on the jerseys in the photo it is not the Nazi symbol.

    True!
But, the Third Reich where notorious for copying other cultures. Their salute was taken from Imperial Rome=Hail Caesar/ their victory parades again styled after Ancient Rome. The Eagle/ Imperial Rome. They must have forgotten that the Romans enslaved/ killed Germanic peoples. Most of their tactical military symbols where from Norse mythology.
But, they use the same form of swastika like on hockey jersey also, as in this "Mother's Cross in Gold" Which my great grandmother got for having 9 kids! mkp1.jpg
