This strange looking coin with an image of Albert Einstein weighs 1/500th of an oz. & has a diameter of 2.96 mm. :jawdrop:. It has a nominal value of 1/4 of a Swiss franc (26 cents). Only 999 of these coins will be minted & comes with a special magnifying glass to view it :p. Cost 199 Swiss francs.

I'll say! They'd be out over three dollars and eleven cents worth of gold.

Not worth counterfeiting;) They prefer $$$ classic coinage to fake.

By my rough calculations, it only contains $3 worth of gold... um, no thanks lol. That's an even worse rip-off than those Cook Island "bullion" cons. Er, I mean coins...

That’s strange. Did two guys in the Swiss mint make a bet?

What was the bet, that anyone would be dumb enough to buy it?

Maybe that it would fly off the table and disappear if you sneeze on it

I seem to remember that Switzerland is one of the few countries to have made gold coins in the recent past whose face value exceeded the value of the metal content. (1991 250 Franc commemorative, though at the current price of gold, probably not anymore)
