I have a 1988 penny and on the obverse side there is a raised line in the field in front of Lincoln's eyes. On the reverse side there is the same raised line from the right handrail down into the field, which seems to be more noticeable. I have attached some images and was hoping someone could tell me if there was any value in this and if it would be worth grading? Thank you, I am new to this so I appreciate any feedback. A very nice plating blister. It's only worth face value but I'd add it to my collection because that's what I do.

Thank you for your response. So a blister will show up on both sides of the coin in the same area?

Not at all. In 1982 the composition of the Cent changed from copper to Zinc. The Zinc Cents have a very thin copper coating so blisters are one of the possibilities for errors. It's very common but unusual for the placement to be on the exact spot on both sides. This however does not increase its value.

Nothing wrong with linear plating blisters, they can be fun!
