When I bounce it compared to another 2000-s nickel the ring is very similar to a silver dime, or quarter. Also the thickness and size is the same as a normal nickel. The toning is consistent throughout the entire coin including edges. The strike has full steps and is great for being found in circulation.
This is damage. You would get more help if you posted these coins in your own thread. They will be seen by many more folks than here.
What an imprint? What's brockage? You should start a new thread and ask the question. On a side note: Your coin is not an error, it's been damaged.
Hi question. I cannot figure out how to post. Not sure. If i missed where it said post or ?. Is there something ive missed? Thanks
To create a new thread. 1)open any thread. 2)go to the top of the page and click on forums, from the dropdown menu select a forum such as "coin chat", "US coins", "error coins", etc. click on that forum 3)After choosing a forum, at the bottom right corner click on the blue box that says "post new thread". 4) then choose a title (for example: "is this a counterfeit"? "is this a doubled die"? etc.) In the box right below that write in your question, concern, or whatever you want to discuss. 5)if you want to post photos click on "upload a file" and select your photos. Use full size and not thumbnail. Don't bother with starting a poll. After posting photos, click on "create thread" in the blue box. It's not as hard as it sounds. If you can't do it by following my instructions, contact one of the moderators who can explain it in simpler terms. Some of the moderators are: @GDJMSP; @desertgem; @lordmarcovan.
I'm guessing that's plated. If it was a real Aluminum cent read this: https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sdut-1974-aluminum-penny-mint-settlement-2016mar17-story.html
Some neat stuff in here. Only thing I have is pretty simple. Washington dollar with the missing edge lettering.
