Nothing special but I put in an offer on ebay for $6.00 shipped. BU 1964-D Kennedy Half. Seller accepted my offer. Thought it was a good buy. Some spots on it but heck, the silver at todays melt price is more than $6.00 for a Kennedy.
Not caring for the spots. Looks like water spots from the mint bath. But as you say, worth a bit more than $6 in melt.
Good buy for the price. The seller should have taken it to his LCS. Just below melt plus shipping. That's good.
Why? His local B&M probably wouldn't pay much more than $3.00-$4.00. What do you want to bet that his shipping won't cost more than $1.00. ~ Chris
Shipping would be a little more than a dollar and it would have been faster. The seller would have the money sooner and with less time and hassle.
Provided that the seller doesn't tape it inside pieces of a cereal box and put it in a 20c envelope with a "Forever" stamp. ~ Chris
