What was the 1998 s proof set "AM" for the penny.

    Iam a lil confused on the 1998 s proof. I was reading the redbook and it says that the 1998s closed am at ms67rd goes for around 150. Wasnt the year a open am for the proof. Thank you guys.

    The valuable one is closed AM for proof. Normal 1998-S proof is Wide AM. The same is true for the 1999-S Proof.

    There were no MS67RD for 1998-S. 1998-S came only as a proof.

    i didnt add the "proof" to the body of my paragraph as i put it in the title, but the ms67RD that i was talking about was a proof.

    The grade would be PR67RD (PCGS) or PF67RD (NGC).
