Last "R" of "DOLLAR" Washington Quarter

    I'm new to this, but I haven't seen any reference to the last "R"of "DOLLAR" on a Washington quarter. The first pic is a normal quarter, but I have two that are shown below it.

    What are you pointing out specifically? The change in how the tail of the "R" got thinner? What are the years on these 3?

    May I suggest that you pound your fist ten thousand times as hard as you can against a solid piece of steel and tell us what your hand looks like afterwards.

    Yes. The bottom two pics are a '90 D and a '98 P. I also have an '86 D.
