I picked these up tonight at the auction at my coin club meeting. I got a real good deal on the 1910 peso - $22 iirc. The olympic commem was under melt, the last one is a lustrous beauty! All in all I'm very pleased. What say you experts though?
I like the design on the 1910 PESO, But I'm not all that fond of Mexican coins. but if you got it under melt, you don't really need to be fond of it!
I like All your coins. Here is my 1968 and some infor. Nice. This one I got of an old Mexican Lady from the store where Steve worked at. She over head Steve and this boss(he is a big time coin collector) the day before. She bought the coin in the next day a gave it to Steve for my collection, Steve asked her what she want for it, her reply is nothing that she was glad that I got it. A few weeks later she came in the store and Steve gave her some money for it.
Cheryl - you must not have understood me yesterday when I edited your posts. But you cannot scan pages from the Krause catalog and post them here. That is a copyrighted book and it is illegal to copy and post images from it. Please stop doing that.
:smileThank you for the FYI, but I am not going to do that. I respect this forum too much, I don't want to get in trouble. Thanks Cheryl
No it isn't. And you usually don't have to. There are plenty of places with images of coins on the internet that you can post links to instead of using copyrighted material. There is no harm in posting links - it just requires a little bit of effort. But it takes less effort than scanning a book and posting those pics. For example - Numismaster - it is free to everyone. And it contains pics of every single coin there is in the Krause catalog. Just go find it on Numismaster and post a link. And that is just one source, there are many others. I have even posted links to a great many of them in the Numismatic Resources section. There is no reason to break the copyright law, not in today's world. There are plenty of other ways to share pics and info without doing so.
