  1. You're right, I can now see the cutouts around some of the more irregular shaped coins. Very nice and meticulous work indeed.

Nice to see them as a collection. That would make a good displace for educational purposes. Too bad about the crack on the backing plate.

Amazing. Nice to see a variety of error types across the common denominations. Well done whomever put this together.

When I was young, I heard about a guy who made an "off-center coin clock." At each hour (1, 2, 3, etc.) he had 10 coins radiating out from center - each coin was further off center in that direction (10% in the 1 o'clock direction, 20% in the 1 o'clock), and so on. In the center was a working clock.

I thought this was absolutely the coolest idea. I've never seen an actual picture of it, but that's the only thing I could think that would rival this set.

That would definitely be an interesting piece to own! I’ve heard of a similar off center coin clock design where a coin that’s off center in the 1 o’clock direction is at the 1 o’clock position on the clock, and so on. I’ve also heard of a similar variation of this with crescent-toned coins.

I’d love to see pictures of any type of coin clock if anyone has any!
