The blank Dansco Album Page (Half Dollars) is catalog #DCSALB5. These list for something like $5 each.

You can use ANY Dansco album, just take the pages out - but here is the info on the blank ones - the difference being how thick you want the binder to be (cat # is the last number):

DANSCO ALBUM: BLANK BINDER, 1" - 5-6 PAGE CAPACITY DCSALB13
DANSCO ALBUM: BLANK BINDER, 1.175" - 6-7 PAGE CAPACITY DCSALB14
DANSCO ALBUM: BLANK BINDER, 1.25" - 7-8 PAGE CAPACITY DCSALB15
DANSCO ALBUM: BLANK BINDER, 3/4" - 4-5 PAGE CAPACITY DCSALB7

(The albums list for something like $9.99, but can usually be had slightly cheaper)

All of this dansco stuff can be found online at any decent coin supply place (or e-bay). I don't recommend any one place, but here are a couple of supply web sites where you can at least browse:

    Thank you for the response.

I searched the websites and could not find a blank page that does NOT have HALF DOLLAR title at the top... Is there one? DCSALB5 is the right size and has the correct holes that I am looking for but I don't care for the title.

Do you know what size album I would need to hold 6 blank pages with the Air-tite Model A26 in them. I know I need two albums to complete all 10 years and I want room to grow. I don't know if the A26 is thicker than the blank pages. Should I order DCSALB14, or DCSALB15?

Does anyone know how to do the black labeling that would work as shown on the blank page so I can make custom pages?

    Thank you for your help.

Ok. Then you want blank "millimeter" pages.

DANSCO: BLANK ALBUM PAGE WITH 16-29MM OPENINGS DCSALP29

That should work - 16 holes/page. The Air-Tite for prez dollars is a little over 30 mm, so a 29 mm is probably what you want.

** EDIT - I have not bought the millimeter pages. So you may want to talk to the salesperson before buying these... **

As far as lettering, I don't use it, but Whitman has a lettering kit for about $5:

The page shown above is a mockup that I made to explore the idea of having pages custom printed. I set this up in Macromedia Fireworks. I proposed the idea of having pages like this custom printed (which Dansco would do, but there would be a minimum of 500 for each custom page at $3.00 each.

The actual page was in my original post

This page was labeled with clear stick-on labels that I printed on my laser printer. It doesn't look quite as nice as if it were pre-printed, but that's probably the only practical way to go unless 100 of you want to go in on the custom printing. I used a custom colored label to cover up the "Half Dollar" text at the top.

These are standard Dansco half-dollar pages. I get them from Brooklyn Gallery of Coins (www.brooklyngallery.com) but there are lots of dealers that have them.

I measured the holes on the half-dollar pages with a caliper. They measure 30 mm exactly. I would suggest trying out 29mm and 30mm pages before buying a large quantity.

The other consideration is the number of openings. The layout I used has 20 openings which accomodates one of every type of presidential dollar for a year. If you had only 16 openings, you'd have to leave something out.

any chance the diameter of those are the same as canadian commemerative silver dollars? cuz I have the majority of my newer dollars in air tights and would like to be able to display them without having to open each little box.

Got mine put together. Thanks everyone for your help. Anyone not wanting to type all the labels up can PM me with their email address and I will send the Word Document to you. I made them up from Washington to G.W. Bush.

I ended up using the Dansco Blank Binder Album, 1.25" - 7-8 PAGE Capacity DCSALB15 and blank Dansco Album Page (Half Dollars) is catalog #DCSALB5. Five pages (years) per book. Labels were made on an inkjet printer using Avery 8665 labels. I flipped the blank pages upside down and over so the Half Dollar title was on the back bottom (less noticeable).

BTW. I was happily surprised that the plastic inserts for the pages still fit on the front and back of the air-tites. Before I ordered them, I thought they were going to be too thick to do this. The plastic inserts keep the air-tites in place and will protect them from scratches.

That's great! I was wondering how many would go in the largest Dansco - 5 pages. Not bad at all.

Nice job! Great idea to turn the page over so the "Half Dollar" lettering is on the back. It hadn't occurred to me to use the plastic slides, but you do need something between the pages so the capsules don't bang together.

I guess I'm a minority. I break any coin out of a PCGS or NGC holder and stick into my Dansco so that it shows it complete. I take and resell the 64's and 65's unless really rare, and buy a 63 and other coins with the difference and put them in the Dansco also. I'm just not a fan of slabbed coins, although I do have some. A PCGS PF65 1936 Lincoln and PCGS PF65 1937 Lincoln. Also others with an equal rarity quality.

The problem I have with putting coins into Dansco albums as they are designed is that they all eventually start toning. My state quarters in Dansco albums are all starting to tone. Also, with presidential dollars the albums don't allow you to see the edge of the coin. Airtite capsules can be taken out of the album fairly easily to view the edges.

I had quite a few presidential dollar rolls that were not paying me any interest. I purchased some airtite direct fit edge view holders, plus some airtite albums that hold five coins to a page. So i search the rolls for the most pristine coins, place them in the album. The left over coins that had marks get spent to circulate them. My albums have no specific order as of yet. My only objective is to get the nice coins into airtites(stored in albums). That lowers the money i have tied up in them considerably, when compared to having a ton of rolls in the safe box.

    Toning in Dansco's

I put together a set of Silver Proof State Quarters in a Dansco album. I took them all out of the mint holders, they just don't display well in the plastic holders, I think. If they tone, they tone. It will give the set a certain unique look I believe. I've had other collectors tell me I'm crazy, but I also sold one at a handsome profit and did it all again. I used to put sets of Franklins and Kennedy's together and sell them. Then the prices on the individual pieces rose and the set price on the Franklin's stayed the same and the Kennedy's actually declined about $100 in the Greysheet. It's not possible to put together a BU set of Kennedy's (with silver proofs) for the $540 Greysheet ask price. I don't understand Greysheet reasoning, go through add up the bid prices with all the proofs and silver proofs and you'll see what I mean. I'm way off the path of my title so I'll shut up.

I have tried my Pres. $1 in direct-fit airtites in the dansco half dollar page and they dont fit. My state quaters in airtites do fit. Thought both had the same outside diameter, but the $1 capsule is slightly larger than the 25c. Anyone else with this problem?

I've never had a problem. Any airtite that starts with 'A' will fit into the page. For example A26 is for the Prez Dollars.
I can only guess what may be wrong.
    1. Are you sure they're air-tites and not something that looks similar?
    2. I only use Direct-Fit ones, I don't know if the other types of air-tites will work

In any case, the quarter and prez air-tites are the exact same size on the outside. If yours are not, then something is wrong.
