He gets: 1955 Bugs Bunny Franklin Half Dollar (MS-63ish, but has a very noticable staple scratch on it) I get: 1946-D Omaha Hoard Pedigreed PCGS MS66 Roosevelt Dime (Yeah, me and my freind thought it would be cool if we both did a 20th century type set) should I? stainless
Shibang The 46-D in non-full bands is pretty common even in MS66; however your Franklin Half is scratched. So I would make the trade unless you plan on extracting the silver any time soon in which case you would be better off with the half dollar. Either way neither of the coins are worth much so I would definitely take the first year of issue MS66 graded/ slabbed Roosevelt from the Denver Mint.
eventually the omaha hoard dime will just be another ms 46-d roosevelt, fairly common; the bugs, even with the scratch, eeeeh. I'd say no trade.
Thanks all for the input, we did agree on a trade though... I looked through the rest of his coins and this is what we agreed on: He gets: the 1955 bugs bunny in with the scratch (MS-62) I get: a 1950-D Jefferson with FS (MS-63) better deal? stainless
we all told you not to do it but you still did it anyways. if you are looking to trade gold coins look me up
Sorry, I know I need to listen, but the Jefferson is a Key Date, and this scratch on my Bugs is annoying me every time I look at it...
If your 1950-D is really full steps, you got a really good deal. By the way, let me know when you want to work on that Jefferson set. I've got tons of them in all kinds of grades.
I'd keep the Franklin , but this ones up to you , trade tilting in his favor , but if you want the nickle go for it . rzage
