So this is a bit of a longshot. I received this coin in a small lot of uncleaned i got from eBay. I can not for the life of me figure any of it out. I've kept from cleaning it any more as I fear it may break the patina. So hoping maybe someone can help me out a bit here. Its an AE drachm Danubian kelts kugelwange type. I've rotated the picture and cropped it. Obverse: laureate head of Phillip II to the right Rev: horse prancing to the left. date ca. 200 BC Compare it to this: Most of the face is gone, as is most of the horse. Still, it's a fun coin.
Awesome, thank you so much for the help. I will leave it the way it is as I do not trust myself enough in restoring. You are right, it will be a fun coin to add to my collection.

Oh wow, some of those are really nice! I just barely started expanding in to Roman coins about a year or two ago, mainly just small uncleaned lots so I can learn the restoration process and identification myself. I feel like adding tribes in would definitely ransack my wallet hahaha. Though the temptation is there now
