I actually had it for years but didn't know I had it. I don't recall buying it. It must have been given to me years ago. It was in a box of random books a papers.
Very nice but I gotta tell ya, you've got the 1948 version. Wish we still had something like that today.
Yes, you're right. I just noticed that. There were two copyrights written on the inside. 1943 and 1948. So I guess it's the 48 version because it's written on the cover.
Anytime you have more than one copy date the last date is the date the owner should go buy. Yours would be the second printing and 1943 is the first.
You're welcome and I learned that a long time ago from my antique business. PS. That book is 72 years old so it's a nice collectible. In 2048, it will become an antique, just like me. Lol
@Collecting Nut- Any idea who this guy is? Maybe a distributor. I search the address. It looks like a row house in Philadelphia.
I never knew that this existed. It’s a neat book made more interesting by the fact that R. S. Yeoman wrote it.
I'm sorry to say but I've never heard of him. I don't know if I'm correct or not but my first thought was he was the coin dealer and that was the business address at the time that book was published.
