Hi I just started looking at cuds so I really don't know if I'm right but on the reverse The top of the shield where the rim is I see dots of metal. I believe they're associated with die cracks. Wat up?

Those are die chips. Cuds start at the rim and go inward into the design elements. The top of the shield is a very common place for die chips.

It involves the edge of a coin going into the field.

Those are small Die cracks/breaks. Just worn die issues. Nothing major.

You have a few small die chips. Cuds must touch the rim and they look like this: IMG_2898.JPG
