I was searching some nickel rolls when I looked at this, and saw what looked like doubling on the motto. Is this true doubling, or I am going mad as usual? I made sure to include pictures of as many devises as I could to ensure a full picture.

Yeah, dont worry, its a near daily event for me to see MDD or DDD and come here lol. You would think I would learn the difference by now.
Read every article on that website I posted above. It is written by the pre-eminent experts in error collecting alive today, including a couple of gents that post here. It is a treasure trove of information - if you are truly interested in learning and understanding errors, that website is where you need to live for the next few weeks.
Humility goes a long way and leads to more enjoyment of this hobby I think. Theres only a few people here that I think if I asked their mothers they'd say their first word was "doubled die". I think they were born from the womb with this gift of understanding what to look for and how. The huge majority of the rest of us are mere mortals lol! I look back at some of my posts when I started and cant believe the stuff I thought. Time , patience, humility, passion to research and learn along with a sense of humor leads to the promised land....and I surely havent made it there yet.
