Came across this little thing just now and thought it looked a little odd... looked up the date and everything on doubleddie.com and found one looks just like it.. I wish I had a better camera but this is what I got... not sure if it's real or even if it's worth anything. But here it is..

Those photos do not show the same as the Wexler examples. Either you haven't captured what is there easy to do, or you are seeing damage that looks close to the reference. I am not seeing a WDDR-001.

I don't see it either. If it was, your coins would have to be a very high MS to be worth anything. Your coin is detailed/damaged. But you're looking in the right spot though.

It might be a minor DDR that isn't listed yet. Or die wash. Hang onto it and wait a while to see if it is ever listed. Only costs you a dime.

Or he could submit a picture to John and ask.

It might be one not listed. And its probably not worth anything cuz the damage on obverse.. but here's another pic.. at 1st I thought it was more of 002, I copied and pasted the wrong number.. but idk the more I look at it it's probably nothing... but it does look doubled. On the tip... might he one not listed in wexlers. I havent checked anywhere else. I wish there was die markers, then I wouldnt have to question it. 20200111_193052.jpg

Either way, those pictures you took are pretty good. Nice job with that part!

It's a good one to stash away for reference, come back to it after some study!

It's really hard to tell . I'll look on some different listings and see what I can find but it's pretty close to what wexler has... just.. better, if it is a doubled die..

What's another listing I can check?

For Modern Rosie's that's it. There is evidence of Md or Strike doubling on all the leaves. Just put it in a 2x2 and come back to it.

The obverse damage is a killer. I'm not seeing any Mint errors but if it was it's only worth face value with that damage.

It might be multiple strike but I doubt it. I havent done much studying on multi strikes. But the tip of the leaf I'm talking about isn't MD.. I don't think. It's not shelf like and it's the same height as the other tip. And it resembles Wexlers. I noticed how it looked doubled, possibly foreal, and decided to look the year up to see if theres any markers ...but theres not

Thanks. That's exactly what I was wondering. If the damage would kill any value for a doubled die this little.

Your second photos look worse, they show flat and shelf like doubling on many of the other leaf tips. Md can happen anywhere on the coin at any time. This does not look like the variety.

I'm only talking about the one leaf tip. Not the others. Theres not even any MD on the other leaves either. If anything it would be DDD but it's not. It's just the glare from the light. But ok thanks
