strange quarter

I was going thru some of my pocket change and found this quarter. I have been stumped trying to figure out what it has been stuck with underneath. I will post the pictures I have and appreciate any feedback. TIA I have enlarged and turned up side to try to figure out .

Second.. Your quarter is damaged. Scraped and possible high heat damaged the clad layer.
