Bone the more I hear about your meeting the more I'm sure you'll be the next BHC member , good luck . rzage
Guys, I sure hope so, but he other members must have their say... Keeping my fingers crossed and knocking on wood, LOL... Ben
^^^ Come on now it ain't no big deal boys. It's a family forum and perception is EVERYTHING. You know, for a minute there I thought you both... Oh nevermind.
lol, I agree, no big thing at all, but I couldn't help thinking "that was my thought exactly" as I read Dougs post. You just have a history of starting some of the most provacative threads here, and I mean that as a compliment.
Thank You Sir, but I really don't see how this thread is provacative and if it is then what is the problem?. I've always been a lot more non-linear and (at times) a vastly deeper thinker than the average red-neck with a sack of silver dollars. Combative, oh hell yes. Considerate, definitely so. Proud, more than you know. Have good stories to tell -- Yessiree Bob. Always right -- Nope... Remember, Character is what you are made of and not the mask you put on for guests -- it shows... (this thought is free for use for whoever wants to ) Take Care Ben
Yes to both Magman watches my table at coinshows as I go hit the floor hunting bargains Clembo and I had over 10K in cash between us on our trip, we were more worried about our motel room in Hollywood than anything else...... Then, I know folks who I do not even slip a word of my collection to.....
Yes, we did have a lot of cash on us now didn't we. I was concerned about it falling out of my pocket and nothing else. I stayed at Jack's house and although it is not NEARLY as disorganized as mine I don't think he's missing anything. Are you Jack? There are a few people that could have the run of my house. One I'm doing drywall and painting for - he's also a collector, I've sold him coins and have a key to his house. I'm often there alone. He is also one of the few people I've shown the "good stuff". Another friend has a VERY impressive collection(s) of Morgans. He's always welcome. Conversely, if my one friend (whom I trust) EVER brings his hell children, grandkids over again I'll insist they sit outside. They haven't stolen but no manners and sticky fingers waiting to happen. I'm talking change laying on the counter. Generally it's best to just keep it quiet though. clembo
