It's two Cents that are damaged with masonic symbols. They were added after they left the mint.
Yours are pop-out symbols done with a special tool.

Google Coins with masonic counterstamp and you will see many different types. There are also many threads here on CoinTalk dedicated to those symbols.

I can agree that those are Free Mason or Masonic symbols on the coins, but I disagree that those symbols automatically refer to "The Illuminati".
To me, the Illuminati is a very, shadowy group of EXTREMELY wealthy individuals who want to, and are trying to, control the world's economies for their own benefit.
Some of them may or may not be Free Masons, but I seriously doubt if all of them are, or if Free Masonry is a prerequisite to being in the Illuminati.

That's my opinion and I'm stickin' to it!!

Correct. The person who wrote that either watches too many movies or reads a lot of Dan Brown novels.

BTW, in the sense of full disclosure, I must state that my older brother is a Mason, and that as a child of 11 years, I was helped to receive my first prosthesis by a group of Masons known as the Shriners.
The Shriners are a high-level group of Masons who operate many hospitals across America to help both handicapped children and burned children.
They operate these hospitals absolutely Free of Charge to those children and their parents who don't have the resources (money) to help themselves. If the family has insurance coverage, they will allow the insurance to cover what it will, but otherwise the services are absolutely Free of Charge.

My 2 favorite charities are the Shriners and St. Judes Cancer Research Hospital for Children.

Totally agree. Both are great charities to donate to, which I do. Hope you don't mind me asking, but is your prosthesis how you came by your name, Hookman? I had assumed it came from a navy pilot on an aircraft carrier.

Yes, absolutely. I got my prosthesis at a time when the only prosthetic "hands" available were hooks. Nowadays, there are many varieties available. Most of the newer ones actually look like real hands and arms.
However, having started with a hook, and continued with a hook, and even becoming known as Hookman Brown, I just never wanted to get a, for the most part, "cosmetic" appliance that really doesn't do any more than my hook does. Of course, as science has progressed, there have been, and will eventually be many more, prosthetic arms and hands that you won't be able to tell from real, and that will be able to do many things more than my hook can do.

These guys are Shriners. They are retired vets who drive around in these little cars. I took this picture at last years Veteran's Day Parade.

Absolutely they are !! Some of them also use mini motorcycles or minibikes. You see the funny red hats on their heads? Those are called a Fez. On the front of them is the name of the local organization, or "Shrine". Here in Houston the local Shrine is called the El Arabia Shrine. The Shriners use a lot of symbolism from the Middle East and especially Morocco. Another symbol they use is a sword called a Scimitar.

A Shriner is always a Mason, but not all Masons are Shriners.

Here's the Wiki on the Shriners. Be sure and read the part about Justin Timberlake's connection to the Shriners.

I've done alot of research on the illuminati. The reason everyone thinks masons are illuminati are 1. Because they are secretive and 2. The illuminati infiltrated the free masons back in medieval times. Along with infiltrating various other high end organizations, like the government and even some churches. It's mainly about science vs religion. Well.. that's what it was back in the day anyway. But yes. I have one exactly like the penny on the left.

Anyone that sacrifices their time and resources for the good of others is a hero in my book. They could be golfing, complaining online or sitting on their asses but instead GIVE and that is awesome. In my world, I know for a fact they have done incredible things for "sight" giving thousands of prescription glasses to people. Some of the people they help are legally blind and without them, they cannot even do daily things like brush their teeth right or do the dishes. When you can, DONATE to them. whatever you give, you wont miss it.

Theres alot of bad organizations out there with self serving agendas. Theres a reason you never hear bad press about Shriners.

    Good for them!

Thanks for the answer. I appreciate that the new prosthetic limbs are giving many wounded vets the ability to regain a somewhat normal life. Sounds like you have gotten so use to yours that there is no reason to change. Good for you.
