Not exactly true, Peter has been sued. Peter has been threatened with suits over what is written on Coin Talk quite a few times.

You can't just go around running your mouth and saying whatever you like in this day and age. And just because you state that your comments are your opinion doesn't matter. That won;t save you from a law suit. Sooner or later somebody will sue you. And it will be expensive.

You mean Peter could get sued for something I say just because it's on his site , sounds unfair .

Let me back up just a little. Anyone can sue anyone for virtually any reason. The chances of winning a suit like that are slim. However, the problem is that the defendant has to defend himself. That = lawyers. That = money. So a plaintive may win his unwinnable suit just by filing it.

After deleting a very lengthy rant a second time on today’s judicial system I have shortened this again to simply say, 'Anyone can sue everyone for any particular reason.' The outcome is simply based on proof of the accusation and the common sense of the judge. If you would like further clarification, feel free to contact me. And yes, a site can be sued for what someone says on his or her site, but it should be thrown out due to freedom of speech. The disgruntled would have to go after the person that actually made the post.

Yes the site can be sued, and "Freedom of Speech" would be a weak defense. Better would be the citing of previous precedent of cases that have alreay been decided which ruled that a site owner can not be held liable for posts made on an open forum discussion board.

I edited my comments, but not out of fear. I just chose a better method of solving this matter. I know the Governor of Ohio personally and a few other politicians because I worked and went to school with them. Plus, I was a treasurer and web master for the largest union in Ohio.

I can get something done with the connections, and it might mean a trip to Washington, so I will save my funds for this, instead of fighting this guy, and spending it on lawyer fees and court cost. He can't beat me, and this has made me realize how bad these fraud TPGS has become.

You will not here the last of this. I thank everyone for their advice and comments, but this has become personal and complex. Something has to be done on a Federal level, and I have the knowledge to pursue it.
