Welcome to the hobby! On an AU or MS specimen, it would be very clear in all letters and the date on the obverse. On this one, it's most clear in "we" and"trust"......especially the R

The example you have linked to is a very lightly circulated specimen. The one i have found is heavily circulated, meaning some of the doubling is rubbed down and no longer visible, and there is some damage to the devices. There are enough markers still visible that match the Type 1 to give a positive identification........otherwise you are suggesting a whole new DDO, making this even more rare and valuable?
I think we can attribute the coin with additional pictures. My thinking it's either 001 or 002. Either way, it's a valuable coin. Take a look at the link I posted above for both and try to find the markers. And if you can, take pictures to mimic what they have posted there for the coin and the markers. We should be able to help.
To your point, that DDO is readily identifiable by the die scratches inside the crossbar of the T in Cent. Tucked so close, the T actually protects the scratches making lower grade identification possible and guards against purchases of counterfeit coins. I'm still wondering which variety the OP has.
Went to the bank and purchased $5.00 in pennies out of all the rolls I only found 2 Canadian coins and 1 Wheat cent.Pretty poor showing.
Actually, if the average is 8-10 LWCs in a box...you are right about the average. My advice: set expectations appropriately. Otherwise you will be unnecessarily disappointed.
