My numismatic studies are what's convinced me not to buy from China, Eastern Europe (particularly Bulgaria and Cyprus), and Russia.

Not sure why i recieved this

You did not receive it personally. It was posted on the forum thread and you has either subscribed to it or just saw it next, but that was directed to the whole group. It is fine to be proud to be an American, but being one does not limit everyone else form their own beliefs, that would be a dictatorship or a King and we do not have either. If you want to continue political, religion , or world events, Peter has a sister forum WWW.Partisanlines.com for such. Here we do not allow it . Please read the rules, Jim

That would be the entire country. Unless you're going to start wearing nothing but animal fur living in the woods using only weapons you hand forged from the woods it is literally impossible to avoid that. The simple fact you were even able to type on the internet shows you are doing it as well. Absurd stances like that are what makes it harder to have legit discussions about things

Agreed, I have bought from a Hong Kong seller too that uses PCGS. I have no reason to believe they aren't genuine. But, on the plus side, this seller is only selling a few items, raw and slabbed, so I would believe them rather than a seller with a 1,000 rare coins all slabbed being sold.

I bought a 1901 British Trade Dollar from China for $42.00 several years ago it was such a good counterfeit obverse & reverse and all other dimensions , even the weight was close but the silver looked like a zincish alloy. I emailed the Chinese seller to refund half the money or I would blow the whistle on him , which he immediately did. $21.00 is not a bad price for a great fake.

I hope it is real. The coin is from China , they sent it to the USA for grading . The Chinese make the profit on counterfeiting higher priced coinage , and even some mid to lower priced coinage they sometimes even use silver and gold they profit on the markup. I do hope it is real though keep us posted

Let me put it to you this way. On this forum you will either do as you told by the mods or you won't be on this forum ! Is that plain enough language for you ?

And by the way this thread is now closed.

edit - the reason I closed this thread was not only because of the direction it turned, I also closed it to protect you from yourself.
