Hey all. I'm new here. Been collecting a while but only with modest commitment of time. Travel, kids o,ther hobbies, you know the deal. Anyway, I have a few treasures pieces of foreign coinage and numista that I will be sharing with the group over time. One piece that I have is a piece of German porcelain I purchased with some typical notgeld. I believe it to be a commemorative medal but actually have NO CLUE. Here is a picture. If any can accurately solve my mystery coins identity I assure goi will be rewarded with more than just my eternal gratitude. There could be muffins. Everyone likes muffins! [be advised the coin does have a swastika present so if you are sensitive to such things please do not participate] Now, unleash your collective brilliance!
It is a 1936 Bavarian ostmark County meeting plaque by Hutschenreuther Selb . If you type in the text off of the medal it will pop up with results and other similar items with brief descriptions.
I just typed in the text off of the medal and found some information on it. It looks like it was something made to celebrate a Nazi ranked member.
I did the same a couple years ago and got nothing. I just did the same again and wowzer! I will play my getting old card on this one. Thanks. For others interested I just stumbled on this helpful website... https://www.emedals.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?p=2&q=Porcelain&selling_type=All+Items
