Some of you may have seen me post this cent in another thread. If so, you can vote but please do not state the grade. For others, please let me know what you chose and why. This the first cent I have gotten that has a TrueView photo that shows fantastic detail so I am hoping to learn from this. Thanks! 35148286_Extralarge~2.jpg

    I'm at 45 or 50. Nice coin.

I'd probably be at 45, but I could see a 50 happening. The dark, almost black, areas here and there on Lincoln's portrait would concern me if it looks like this in hand. That's not a very natural look on a copper coin. The fact that it made it to a Trueview tells me that it's an artifact of the photography, most likely.

I'll say low Mint State/AU as well.

For my money that’s AU55 all day going away. That’s one exquisite coin.

It is a strong XF45. I feel it is undergraded and should be a AU50 or AU53. Either way, I love it and cannot wait for it to come in! Ignore the slab scratches. Screenshot_20200105-174744_eBay.jpg

Lol as there is no such grade. AU starts at 50. XF is 45. You know better Mike. :)

Personally, I think it undergraded. Based on the pictures, I would grade it a minimum of AU50. Likely AU53 though.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I like this one at 45. I think there is just a touch too much wear and not enough luster for AU.

And its definitely not a 53!

It really is an XF/AU slider. I went AU on the key date grade bias.
The problem is, this coin is a super strong 45 but there's no grade between 45 and 50.
    This is a 48-49 easy.

Those saying AU50...would it be worth resubmitting?
