1968-D RPM Penny?

    Note minor doubling in the date as well, this suggests machine doubling. Had the date shown no doubling, then you may have a RPM. But, in those years the mint mark (D) was added after the die was made. They are separate, but when machine doubling occurs all sorts of devices (etc) show MD. Such is the case with this coin.

    Oopps, I modified (edited) my reply, but you quoted awfully quick. It is not a RPM.
