My wife just inherited a boat load of Asian coins what's the best way to get a value on them?

What a pita! Japanese, Chinese, Korean coins & paper money. From Chinese knife money & bc round coins to about 1960s.
They all look a like! Cant even read the dates! Ugh very frustrating. Where should I start without going crazy?
    Thanks Tom

    Here I am!

Yep. Please post pics of them... Like an "aerial shot," not each coin.

Just separate the one with holes from the ones without.
The ones with holes are most likely the older cast coinage.

    That could be a start..

    Nice initial photos!

You could lay out the hundreds of coins out on a dining table and take a couple of wider-angle photos. It's work, I know, but if I had that many coins and wanted an opinion on them from a forum site like this one, I'd want to try to get them all pictured.

Thanks for the tag @furryfrog02! Quite the assortment of coins, although I am afraid the main draw to these photos, the Qi-Knife, is sadly a forgery. The rest are mostly Chinese and range from Song to Ching, altough none are extremely valueable. A nice Huizong though! Maybe there are some goodies hidden in the rest of the images!

Wow. I just KNEW it about that knife...We have had the pleasure of looking at some beautiful knife coins of a CTer here, @TypeCoin971793 - so almost by osmosis, I could sort of feel it and I said out loud to myself: "Self, something is not right with that knife." And then I said: "Hey! Self! Look! There is a Song Dynasty coin, similar or maybe even like the one @Parthicus gave you." (Okay, so I could use some human company! But that is why I come here! :-D).

p.s. didn't mean to get excited in case that first knife is not...um....Kosher @Thomas Kirby ^.^
