Just picked this CC Morgan up from a local estate. Was curious what people thought about its grade. I took photos from a couple different angles. Thanks!

It looks like some wear in the date, on some of the lettering and on the breast, kinda hard to tell from the pic? also the edge, maybe I am looking too hard and my eyes are old lol

Tough to say just based on pics without seeing it in person, I'm thinking ms63ish

I tend to agree with you more than the AU crowd. There is some chatter in the field in front of her face but most of what you see on her cheek is breaks in the frosty field rather than scratches. It compares very favorably to an ms62 piece I found online.

Yeah, i absolutely do not see an AU coin, it's definitely MS

MS 62. Might squeak by as a 63.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

    62. Lot of pretty severe marks on that coin.

I don't see any trace of wear, so I won't call it AU. As I recall, these came straight from mint bags in the vaults - not circulated.

I'm in the 63 camp. How about showing us the GSA case. ~ Chris

I is a little less at 62 because of volume of marks. People get carried away like I did in the past with over magnification to attain a grade OPINION ,which really doesn't work well. This is not a bad CC OVERBLOWN existing faults tricks the mind.
Some of that frost may kick into a 63 - Nice coin

I think it squeaks out a 63. Definitely MS.

I agree with the consensus so far: MS62-63. I might change my mind if I saw the coin in person, but the cheek and all the field chatter are making me lean toward MS62. Photos sometimes exaggerate that, so I think 63 is within the realm of possibility as well.

Here are some more photos. The ones that look frostier are because I held a dark card between the coin and the light source. Not photographic trickery, just going for as many revealatory images as possible.

I still say MS-62 or 63 for the same reasons as my previous post.

I'm just putting info out there for consideration. I fully understand grading Morgans and Peace dollars is a real hit or miss endeavor. I once had a batch of 50 ms63 1922 peace dollars. All NGC...the actual state of the coins was ALL OVER THE PLACE...yet, they were all ms63.
