Please do not take offense to this but to me, most of them are damaged. They are all put together and designed by a very smart person for the sole purpose of making money. They will never be worth what was paired for them. Take the Barr note for example. There is nothing mysterious about Joseph Barr but they make you, as a customer, think so. Thst is one of the few bills that have not been damaged. The bills with stamps were put together to for a reason. However, they were not manufactured that way. They are damaged and not worth the price that was charged when the act was committed. As I said, please don't be offended but this is the way I feel. Wait for others to comment. Some people like things like this and that is why they sell.
The Where is George? is cool. Go to the website and enter the serial number. It might show you where it has been. The rest are ok. I wouldn't collect them. Most are novelty items that will have no premium in the future. IMHO
One mans ceiling is another mans floor. Some people really like these along with colorized coins. I’m not sure I’d label them damaged, maybe I’d call them altered. The Barr note is cool but not as elusive as advertised. As long as the public keeps buying them and there’s a demand, they’ll keep making them. The two $1 SC’s including the star are a little rough but it’s a start. I just ordered the Happy Birthday 2020 note and most would say you’re wasting your money...but I like them and buy one every year. Collect what makes you happy.
The star notes are worn and have multiple problems but they should be very cheap. The premium over face should be extremely low. It's your collection so add to it as you see fit.
All of the $2 bills are worth $2. It's true that some people like the 1976 postal mark, but it's a form of damage. The Where's George? is damaged, that's a dollar. The $5 silver certificate is around 7-8 dollars. It's very worn and creased and circulated. The 1943 cent in that folder has been reprocessed. The 1909 penny may be worth a dollar or so in that condition. I do like the Barr note. Current value around $2-3. As for the star notes, the 1st silver certificate is not a star and is heavily worn. Value $1 - $1.25. The second one is a star but again it's heavily worn, $1-$2.
