It is a VF30. I am also looking at a couple XF and an AU. Seems price wise, I will be looking $750ish for VF, $875ish for XF or $1,000ish for AU. I really like this one though. I feel it is nice for VF.
looks like these two are nice, wholesome coins for their grades. I would continue to look..make some offers. It seems now it is only a matter of price. Most importantly...learn grading and get something that is appealing to your sense of quality/appeal....but, yes, if funds permit these coins or ones similar to them would be what i would look for in a nice circulated cent.
I really like the appeal of this cent. There is also a MS62 that could be had for $1,350. I'm just trying to decide if the extra $355 is worth it to me. Lol
I really like this coin! 1909-S VDB AU55. I now have: 1909-S VDB 1909-S 1914-D 1931-S I am done for awhile. I will enjoy what I have and enjoy watching others. I will get better pictures when it comes in!
My collection has started off different than the vast majority of others I am sure. I know most start of with common dates and CRHing but I decided to start with the key dates. I am now going to slowly begin collecting others as I find good deals. I am also taking quite an interest in Indian Heads, Mercury Dimes, Peace Dollars, and Liberty V Nickels. Anywho, this is where my key dates stand currently and I am very pleased! I do, however, feel the need to get a 1922 Plain at some point after tax return.
