I'm probably wrong but the BE of LIBERTY on your 1st photo looks like there may be notches on the upper parts of the letters. I can't tell from your photos because of the dark splotches. Yeah, that's nicer than any war nickel I've ever found in the wild -- but I don't think it's any sort of error or variety.
