NGC's finest hour

lol, I assume you mean KK, Amber, and Jessica; and I think pretty highly of them too, they do a fabulous job. For those of you who don't know, they are our wholesale consignment directors so they travel to all the shows with me (although I took the Mid-America Expo off) to solicit dealer auction consignments.

As for Anna and Co. at PCGS....

nah i think it might be that i look young and dashing.

 

I once sent a coin in that I thought merited MS63. Came back as AU58.
Still a beautiful RB 1868 2 Cent Piece and I could crack and resend. Maybe get that grade.

Not a lot into the coin so why bother? After several weeks of counseling I finally came to terms with it.

In other words the OP should quit whining. Took a gamble and lost.

let me correct that

there were 3 things interesting in the show

in order of importance

the young and dashing spock (and also very uncomfortable)
2 nitwits who cleaned all the tables of the coins i wanted just so they could flip them
and the nice bust half dime in ms 66 that i could not buy because of retirement but it was the best half dime i have ever seen and thats making a statement it also the only coin that i liked that i have not bought so far

of course dealers were picking my brains on what they should be buying and i wasnt there for that one or two even invited me behind the counter but i have become wise after the last paper money show and i am not going there
