Nice find. Too bad it's in such deplorable condition @SteveInTampa What do you think? Printing error on back?
I actually havent made a profit i donate alot and buy alot from the goodwill to help our community and yes it is a awesome find and hope to profir
I have my doubts about it being genuine. The face plate is in one of the F positions. I cannot read the number but none of the F positions are on the bottom of the page. If this were in the middle of the page as the F position letter indicates the back should show the impression of the note below instead of being partly blank.
Agree with lettow but for a different reason - it doesn't pass the eyeball test to me. The plate position thing just reinforces my first visual impression.
That note is way over board, the reverse is so out of wack, it would be Tough sale for me to think its authentic, just take it to the bank If they give you change great, if they call the cops, maybe not...LOL
Curious error. I would like to see better scans/photos...maybe with better lighting and with the note out of the sleeve. And, when posting the photos, click on Full Size Image instead of thumbnail.
The printing was fine. The paper alignment for the 2nd printing was off. Both sides are not pribtwd at the same time.
I believe the second (and third) printing are fine. The first printing is the one that is off. Isn't the "back" of the note printed first?
That looks like a nice error. The condition tells me this circulated for a while before someone pulled it, which is quite interesting.
Yeah, the average cashier has probably never seen an example like that. "Sorry sir, I cannot accept this note.."
