The shots are too distant and out of focus. It looks like there could be a witness mark in bay 9 of the Memorial. How are you taking your pictures? The backing is a good choice by the way.
If you do start with an inexpensive one for attribution, Some have a limited list of the only ones such as in CPGuide, etc. And most charge more to do a variety. Jim
Im taking photos with my lgq7plus cell phone. I will continue to try for better but i dont think this phone will cut it.
It may not be the phone's camera but more of how you are taking pictures. If you are taking pictures freehand, then you'll struggle with a phone's camera or a camera to get focused photos. Make sure you steady the phone with a fixed/heavy object and that you set the distance between the phone and the coin at optimal (i.e., little to no magnification. The coin should fill your viewing screen but be crisp. When getting closeups, change the distance between the coin and phone; avoid using the zoom feature as much as possible.
Ive tried distance change. I have changed lighting and angles. These are the last i will take for now because i do not want to damage the die.
Better pics and I think you’re on the right track. A little more time experimenting with your phone and lighting you’ll be in great shape. I don’t see the makers and the devices look normal. My opinion: a normal cent. No DDR.
