Help me grade these Peace Puppies

Hi folks: Picked these two out of a junk silver bin the other day.....opinions please as to the grade (as always I continue to learn and value your opinions).

PS: Didn't pay a lot for'm

The 1923 looks like it still has some luster; AU-50. The 1922 looks to be VF-30.

I would say AU for the 23 and EF for the 22. Peace Dollars are hard to grade from photos and scans.

 

Right you are Ben....Luster she has. Was suprised to find something so nice just layin' around.

 

For the '22 I agree,but in hand the'23 looks much better...scan doesn't really do her justice.

What I meant VF on the '22 and XF on the '23. The numbers are still challanging me.

 

I suggest we get one of those other doctors to become a member here. I sense something is wrong with my friends these days

 

OK! Doug, what are the 5 VF grades and what is VF-15? VF20, VF-25, VF30, and VF-35 are the only 4 I know of.

 

I'd be pretty satisfied if I bought both of them for VF money.

I'd say xf on the first and vf on the other. would need better pics to grade further,
