Is it you that thinks that all fat lettering and numerals could be Doubled Die? Most of the time it is a worn die strike.

Hi Kyle - have a look at the photos at this location: http://doubleddie.com/828739.html

When posting photos, mimic these shots (size, focus, lighting, etc.). Having objective evidence will help establish what you have and allow others here to confirm your finding, help educate others following the thread, and allow the community to enjoy your successes.

I'm sorry, but I'm not seeing it. I can't make out from your pictures for certain but I don't see the markers for the DDO or the DDR. Can you confirm the die scratches in the Memorial, by the S in STATES, or by the Y in LIBERTY?

find the markers and take that advice. Take the same pictures you see in the example and also find those markers!

To be sure, send it in for attribution and then post it.

Sorry Kyle. Check your coin against the one listed on the site provided by @Kevin Mader. The date on your coin looks nothing like the real DDO. Also, I don't see any of the markers on your coin.

10pm in my time zone. How you show me a 1981 that looks similar. Better yet an existing doubled die to compare.

Let me point out two things to you. First, your title states the word "possible" which means it might or it might not be. Second, your first post you stated "you be the judge".. Looks like everyone is telling you it's not a DDO.. So why then go against eveyone when we try to be truthful?

Well. I'm done with this thread.. Good luck.
