My dad saw something on the ground leaving a local diner and decided to pick it up. No date but he figured he'd give it to me anyway. We were playing cards that night so I went ahead and pickled it while we past the time. I said..."How about that?! This nickel is almost 20 years older than you." He was pretty shocked.

I left this morning to get my 12 boxes I usually get every Friday. Well because of the holidays most banks didnt get coin orders. So out of the 12 I got 5. Next week we should be back to normal.

I’ve gotten behind on this thread due to deer hunting and other things. But I got caught up tonight. I’m jealous of all the buffs you find. And I’ve yet to get a v nickel. Not that I do your volume. Congrats on your finds. I think maybe I’ve found two buffs out of a dozen boxes

Still missing that darn 39S. We have gone dry on 42Ds. We had a nice short run of them popping up but they have slowed. A nice pick up on silver and buffalos! Let's hope this trend continues!

On a side note we are getting close on two full rolls of silver!

It seems the magicians in your area are retiring. Kind of sad!!

Well atleast he had some sense to use one of those nasty 64s. One less now in the nickel population :)

I'm wondering how complete you can get for a modern set of Canadian nickels. Maybe the past 50 years? I'll have to think on that a bit more...

I got them all saved up and will eventually buy a Canadian album as well as another Jefferson album to see if we can put a entire BU set together. That 39D I found would look nice in a album :)
