This is an interesting choice for a advertising token, for a lawyer. Sort of do you feel lucky and want to gamble on me!
Nope, and not being disrespectful the collectors are passing on at a rapid rate. And what is sadder the heirs to the collections are even more in a hurry to convert them to spendable cash. The LCS use to have a couple of bins of 50% off stuff and one of the rotating rack things of the better items. But he got tired of some of the customers giving him a hard time about prices no matter how low they were. Plus I being the only steady customer that buys tokens. I don't collect coins, We worked out a deal were he bags them up when he gets them in coin collections he does keep some of the better items for sale but with few buyers the will make their way into the bulk bag with my name on it! like this encased stamp store card I did snap it up when I saw it in the case. Sometimes there are a hundred of them and sometimes there are 5 or 6 items. I look at them and we decide on a fair price. I also have a couple of collectors from here and another site that buy coin collections and sell me the tokens in bulk so they don't have to deal with individuals. I check in at the LCS once a week to B.S. with him pick up a number of military unit and challenge coins I will be posting. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Interesting! I always enjoy hearing the back stories and find it fascinating how one acquires and finds their coins and tokens. Fortunately or unfortunately, I'm picturing in my mind how the heck you must be storing and organizing your collection. Thanks for the feedback!
Some are in albums safe pages and flips others in safe flips in the 2x2 coin boxes. I photo both sides so I can look at them easily.
I’ve got to get some pics taken soon but one of the favorites in my collection are some PAC Man tokens just because they remind me of many care free days.
Nope he has me beat by a stretch, dividing the number of photos in half and a guesstatmite of not photoed in the to do box around 5,000 items
